We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jean Fuller-Stanley, Associate Dean at William Paterson University, will provide a workshop to students between the ages of 13-18 who may have an interest in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) training. These are highly demanding occupations for which there is and will continue to be high demand and good pay.
Dr. Fuller-Stanley has a PhD in Chemistry and has an expressed interest in recruiting minority students for STEM fields. She has published in the area.
The workshop will occur on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 6 pm. Interested students and their parents are encouraged to attend. She will discuss the requirements for entry into programs, the academic supports that are available as well as financial assistance.
This is a great opportunity and we encourage any interested students to plan to attend.
This seminar is sponsored by St Paul’s Timothy Project, a mentoring ministry for young men of color.
